I received this email notification from Yahoo! UK because I signed up for a Yahoo account years ago with a UK address:
As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver outstanding service, we have recently reorganised our European operations. Beginning 21 March 2014, we will be providing our services from a single European entity based in Ireland.
The move requires changes to our Terms and Privacy Policy, most notably, that your user contract will be transferred from Yahoo! UK Limited to Yahoo! EMEA Limited (Learn more).
This change applies to all Yahoo services you receive, such as Mail, Flickr and Answers, that are provided to you from Yahoo! UK Limited or one of our other European companies. For a summary of the changes, visit our FAQ, or click to read the new Terms and Privacy Policy.
What do you need to do?
Your continued use of Yahoo services after 21 March 2014 means that you accept the changes to the Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, then you must close your account before 21 March 2014.
Best regards,
The Yahoo Team
