People no longer have safe haven to smear Ohio businesses online from other states, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled yesterday.
In a 4-2 decision, justices said Ohio businesses can reach into other states to sue people who post defamatory comments about them on the Internet.

Kauffman’s lawyer, Brett Jaffe, and Roberts’ lawyer, William J. Kepko, agreed the decision will open the door to more cross-state suits over product defamation.
