Fresh graduate Tang Shangjun was puzzled to find an embossed credit card, and a PIN number, in his mailbox from Standard Chartered Bank slightly over a week ago.
As he had not applied for any credit cards, he called the bank and was perplexed to find that the card was a tie-up between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the bank. ‘It was inappropriate of NUS to give out our information like that,’ said the 26-year-old, who was from the Law faculty.
