Schwarzenegger signs bill permitting sealing of autopsy records for slain children

State legislation on behalf of the families of two murdered San Diego County teenagers that permits the sealing of autopsy records for slain children was signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was announced today.

Senate Bill 25, the Deceased Child Victims’ Protection and Privacy Act, was authored by Sen. Dennis Hollingsworth, R-Murrieta, at the request of San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis on behalf of the families of Chelsea King and Amber Dubois.
