To read about the furor over the TSA’s new full-body scanning and pat-down procedures online, you’d think air travelers were ready to give up flying altogether rather than subject themselves to airport security’s nudey cams and probing hands. But ask fliers directly about acceptable alternatives to the procedures, and it seems they may be willing to give up much less: not even the five minutes necessary to buy an overpriced burrito at their gate.
