NY judge questions husband-wife calls on wiretaps

Associated Press reports:

A New York judge has demanded the government explain itself for eavesdropping on phone calls between an insider trading defendant and his wife.

Federal Judge Richard Sullivan ruled in favor Wednesday of the government’s right to wiretap insider trading suspects, but drew the line at the private chats between a husband and wife.
