Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) will reintroduce his online privacy legislation next week, his spokesperson confirmed to The Hill.
He garnered qualified support from Intel, eBay, and Microsoft last year, while a competing bill was drafted by Reps. Rick Boucher (D-Va.) and Cliff Stearns (D-Fla). Rep. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) also promised a bill focused on protecting kids.
