According to Gabriel Maganis, a PhD student in computer science at the University of California collaborated with Intel and the University of Washington to design a system called the sensor tricorder.
This development has come in answer to the problem faced by people who feel their privacy is being invaded by unseen tracking monitors.
Each device will feature a screen displaying a QR code, which is a two-dimensional barcode connected to a smart phone camera. This tricorder system will deliver a fresh QR code that will relay information about where a sensor is installed, what it is recording, and how long it will be installed. It will also give details about past instances of such monitoring.
