Commentary: Welfare drug testing and the Fourth Amendment

Linda P. Campbell, an editorial writer for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, writes about a proposed law in Texas to drug test potential welfare recipients and those seeking unemployment assistance.  Texas is certainly not the first state to try to pass this type of law, and I’ve mentioned similar cases on PHIprivacy. net in the past (cf, here and here).
