Des Moines Public Schools turn to NOVAtime for biometric workforce management

NOVAtime Technology has announced that the Des Moines Public Schools has chosen NOVAtime to automate its time and attendance process for its employees across the school district.

According to the company, its subscription-based workforce management solution, NOVAtime 4000 Software as a Service, as well as over 80 of its NT6500 fingerprint time clocks will be used across the Des Moines system.

Biometrics in the workplace for teachers? Are their unions protesting this at all? Oh well, if you’re going to use biometrics and tracking devices on students for attendance purposes, how do you justify not using it on the adults/employees, too? And then, of course, the rest of the public sector… and then…
