The West Virginia Board of Education is pledging not to share students’ personal information with anyone outside the system.
The move, codified with a resolution passed Wednesday at the board’s regular meeting that will eventually become policy, was made in large part to appease West Virginians who are concerned with West Virginia’s adoption of the national Common Core standards for education.
