British users to sue Google over Safari privacy breach

Hundreds of British internet users are preparing to sue the search giant Google for breaching their privacy.

The plaintiffs argue that Google bypassed security settings on the Safari internet browser in order to track their online browsing and to target them with personalized advertisements.

The group of claimants, known as Safari Users Against Google’s Secret Tracking, demanded the company answer to British Justice system in a jurisdiction hearing due on Monday.
