The National Commission for the Protection of Personal Data (CNDP) has revealed on Friday that 50% of the websites in Morocco do not respect the legal procedures for the protection of such data.
In a control operation of personal data that involved 104 websites, the CNDP said that only 22% of these websites provide references to the protection of personal data in accordance with the law.
The control campaign identified that 28% of websites show a feature that indicates they are protecting personal data of their users in line with the legal requirements, yet it is “incomplete”.
