Australia’s data retention bill – initial reaction

Posted on November 2, 2014 by pogowasright.org

In a few posts this past month, I’ve noted the data retention bill (text) (explanatory memo) submitted to the Australian Parliament, and telcos’ initial reaction, but as a solo blogger, it’s hard to keep up with all the developments and perspectives. Thankfully, Leanne O’Donnell has a good roundup of initial reactions, with links to important documents, here.

If you’re on Twitter and interested in the progress of this bill, follow @MsLods for updates.
