Actress Claims Former Manager Invaded Her Medical Privacy

Actress Shannen Doherty says her former financial manager, already accused of mismanagement, also invaded her privacy by lying to get her confidential medical information.

Doherty, 44, sued financial management firm Tanner Mainstain Glynn & Johnson last August, accusing the company of causing her to lose her health insurance coverage shortly before she was diagnosed with cancer.

Doherty filed another complaint on Thursday in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleging the financial firm impersonated her to get her confidential medical information and health insurance billing history to help with its legal defense.
