The newly appointed president of a local development firm was recently ordered to pay damages in a federal lawsuit brought against him by his former employer for illegally accessing the emails of co-workers.
Christopher Carmicle was named president and chief operating officer of local senior housing development and construction firm DMK Development Group in January, nearly two years after being fired as president of two Louisville area subsidiaries of Brown Jordan International, a national outdoor furniture manufacturer.
