Breach of trust: Firefighter accused of taking pictures of patients

Posted on March 5, 2018 by pogowasright.org

Tara Morgan reports from Ohio:

A Columbus firefighter is accused of snapping a picture and recording video of patients and then sharing the images.

An anonymous letter and a flash drive with videos and pictures were delivered to several offices of the Division of Columbus Fire, with allegations that city work and federal rules were violated. Another letter, along with a flash drive, was sent to ABC 6 On Your Side investigators, who began looking into it.

Read more on ABC6. It sounds like they have a suspected firefighter whom they have interviewed twice already, but it’s not yet clear who the whistleblower is and whether anyone will testify against the suspected employee.
