New Hampshire Privacy Amendment Passes by Huge Margin

Today, New Hampshire voters said “yes” to privacy by a huge margin, and set the stage to undermine the federal surveillance state. 

The passage of Question 2 sets a constitutional foundation to protect privacy rights in New Hampshire by adding the following language to Article II of the New Hampshire state constitution.

“An individual’s right to live free from governmental intrusion in private or personal information is natural, essential, and inherent.”

At the time of publication Question 2 passed by an 80-20 vote with 43% reporting.
