BN intruding into privacy with irritating SMSes

The Barisan Nasional has brought in text messaging as a weapon in the by-election battle – and this has got a voter all riled up.

The voter from the Sungai Buaya constituency told FMT that she had received 20 SMSes even before nominations were filed in Kuala Kubu Baru yesterday.

“This is an intrusion on privacy,” said the 35-year-old private teacher who asked to remain anonymous.

The SMSes carried the same message: vote for BN.
