Army wants pink undies for museum

Posted on July 3, 2009 by pogowasright.org

Would you want your underwear in a museum?

You may not know Pvt. Zachary Boyd’s name, but you probably know him as the soldier who was in a firefight with the Taliban while wearing his pink boxers.

Pvt. Boyd arrives home today for a weekend visit with his family. After his four-day pass, he is returning to active duty at Fort Hood where he hopes to become a helicopter pilot. In the meantime, the Army wants his boxers for a museum.

Happy 4th of July, Pvt. Boyd and to all those who serve our country and make a fashion statement at the same time!
