News that there have been, and might still be, secret surveillance cameras in school washrooms has upset parents whose children attend New Frontiers School Board schools in the South Shore community of Châteauguay.
Wayne Goldthorpe, director-general of the school board, admitted he was swamped with phone calls from parents Monday after a news reportabout the secret cameras was published on the weekend. Goldthorpe said there three were cameras installed, only two of which were functional.
