Caught on TV with her pajama pants down, she’s suing

Wearing pajama bottoms outside can lead to a case of exposure.

A former Naperville resident’s pink Hello Kitty pajama bottoms slid down her hips while she was being arrested on an outstanding warrant in Naperville last year, and it was all caught on camera, according to a federal lawsuit filed Thursday.

Chelsea Frederick and her sister Ferrara Daum, who was also at the scene, say their right to privacy was violated when cameras for the Biography Channel series “Female Forces” taped the arrest, focusing on the “indecently exposed skin above the waistband of [Frederick’s] pajamas” without authorization.

The suit was filed against the Biography Channel, A&E Television Networks LLC, which aired the episode; the producers, the Greif Co.; and the city of Naperville.
