Facebook will be revamping their privacy controls over the next few weeks. The plan is to consolidate existing privacy pages more than two dozen settings into a single privacy page. But at least one person on the conference call today was left with nagging questions.
Marshall Kirkpatrick of ReadWriteWeb comments:
But it is pretty clear that Facebook would like you to share a lot more information publicly than you are right now, with the whole wide open internet.
Why? I asked the company if they really were trying to nudge users into being more public on Facebook and if outside developers would then get access to more user data. They said yes.
