How to Check if Your Data Has Been Compromised on the Dark Web Using Google

Posted on September 2, 2024 by Dissent

Over on Root Nation, Yuri Svitlyk explains how to use a new Google feature. To be eligible for the Dark Web Report, you must have a personal Google account. Google Workspace accounts and managed accounts are not eligible for the Dark Web Report, but if you have a Gmail account, you already have a personal Google account. Svitlyk writes:

With your Google account, you can use the Dark Web Report to access the following features:

  • Track your personal information on the dark web
  • Notifications about newly found results
  • Tips and tricks to protect your personal information.

More information can be found on the official Google website.

Read more at RootNation or go directly to Google’s official explanation for how to use the feature.
