Max Mosley takes Google to court in France to force filtering

If you thought the saga of Max Mosley’s sadomasochistic sex party video was over, guess again. The former president of Formula 1 has taken Google to court in France to force search engine companies to build software filters that would detect and delete the video that had caused him so much embarrassment.

Daphne Keller, Google associate general counsel gave Google’s perspective on his action in a blog post. Not surprisingly, Google is balking at the idea of requiring specialized filters.
