Smoking Ban at Beijing will now Shame Tobacco Users on Internet and charge $32 as fine

Capital city of China, ‘Beijing’ came up with a strict smoking ban on the smokers on Monday. The government warned that if anyone cross this law, their name will be shamed over Internet and Television and has to pay twenty times higher penalty than now.

This ban is applicable in the public areas like restaurants, offices and public transport. Any offenders who are caught will have to pay $32 (200 yuan) which used to be $1.60 before.

A technical officer at WHO told, that this new law is probably the strongest smoke free law globally.

If any offender caught for 3 times, he will be shamed on the government website.
