South Korea bans “Smart Sheriff” app from Google Play

Following up on the use of the smartphone monitoring app, “Smart Sheriff,” that was pretty popular in South Korea but was recently found to have over two dozen vulnerabilities that could compromise privacy and security:  the government has reportedly now banned the app.
