State forms data privacy council to address protecting student information issues

Tim Tooten reports:

After a recent state audit showed that Maryland needs to do a better job of protecting student’s personal records, the state has formed a student data privacy council to help address the issue.

There have been concerns for some time, both in Maryland and around the nation about how much is too much when it comes to student data.
