A Houston lawyer has dropped his defamation of character lawsuit against three Kingwood girls he accused of cyberbullying his daughter with a Facebook video.
“There’s been a settlement agreement between all parties,” Jason Medley’s attorney, Robert Naudin, said on Wednesday. “What we obtained were the apologies, a very small donation and assurances that this won’t happen again. There are no continuing duties except not to engage in this kind of reprehensible behavior.”
The unusual method to stop and prevent bullying garnered international media attention, particularly in legal and child advocacy circles.
