Vermont bill regulating data brokers to be voted on Friday – speak up now!

Posted on April 11, 2018June 25, 2025 by Dissent

There will be a vote this Friday in the Vermont legislature on a bill intended to regulate data brokers in Vermont. Pam Dixon of the World Privacy Forum informs me that industry has submitted many  letters of opposition. Those who want the bill to pass need to speak up now to offset the negative pressure on the Senate. Read the bill, and then submit your feedback today or tomorrow.
