Vice President Pence’s physician abruptly resigned Friday, putting a stunning new twist on the misconduct scandal embroiling White House Dr. Ronny Jackson.

Pena privately raised concerns that Jackson, who is Trump’s personal physician, had violated medical privacy protections for Pence’s wife, Karen, according to memos first reported by CNN earlier this week. Pena also alleged Jackson angrily confronted her over the complaint.
