Posted on September 6, 2014 by pogowasright.org

walakelliejones reports:

Fox10 News has discovered an investigation is underway to find out whether or not Mobile County License Commissioner Kim Hastie violated federal law by allegedly giving city residents’ personal information to a political campaign.

Two Mobilians, Anitra Diamond and Lebarron Yates, have filed claims against Mobile County officials. In their claims, they state personal information was released without their permission from the Mobile County License Commission Office to the “Sandy Stimpson for Mayor” campaign last year.

Furthermore, Diamond and Yates allege that personal information of 30,000 city residents was given to campaign officials which in turn, used it to send out an e-mail of Mobile County License Commissioner Kim Hastie’s endorsement of Sandy Stimpson for Mayor.
