Canadian Resource: An online guide to tenant privacy rights

Jesse Johnston reports:

Renters confused about what personal information landlords are allowed to ask for, can now go online to get all of their questions answered.

Patrick Egan with the Privacy Commissioner’s office says they’ve been getting calls from landlords and tenants on whether it’s ok to ask a renter for things like bank statements or SIN numbers.
