Check cc details to reduce insurance fraud

An insurance company is implementing a series of measure, including checking an industry database for mismatches in credit card details, in order to cut down on fraudulent claims.

The move follows the release of the latest ABI figures which show insurance fraud has increased by nearly a quarter in the past two years.

New recruits are to be trained at esure in cognitive interviewing and other techniques which can reveal inconsistencies in fabricated stories.

The company also has Voice Risk Analysis technology that identifies changes in people’s voices caused by stressed.
