Conference: International Privacy+Security Forum April 3-5, Washington D.C.

Posted on February 9, 2019June 25, 2025 by Dissent

This year’s International Privacy+Security Forum will be held April 3-5 in Washington, D.C.  You can read more about the program and schedule, and find additional details here.  The conference is organized by professors Daniel Solove and Paul Schwartz, and from experience, I can tell you that they always run a wonderful event.

The conference will be held at the George Washington University’s:

Marvin Center
800 21st Street NW
Washington, DC 20052

There’s an early bird registration discount that will end on February 15 if you want to take advantage of it.

I’m really looking forward to the conference, particularly since it not only includes sessions on GDPR, but also includes developments and changing laws in Asian countries and other areas. Last year, I attended a session on China’s changing laws that was very helpful – especially since I had recently started doing notifications of data leaks to companies based in China.

So I’ll be at the conference this year, and if you’re going to be there, too, let me know.  I look forward to seeing folks there!
