Corrupt Cop’s Ex-Wife Admits Spying on Police

There’s an update to the case of a woman charged with wiretapping her police commander husband’s communications. Arvin Temkar reports:

The ex-wife of a corrupt police commander pleaded guilty Monday to federal wiretapping charges.

Kristin Nyunt, who was married to former Pacific Grove Police Cmdr. John Nyunt, admitted she installed spy software on the cell phone of a police officer, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.

Nyunt used spy software such as Mobistealth and StealthGenie to record phone calls, texts, voicemail, email and other sensitive information from 2010 to 2012, prosecutors said.
