Here Come ‘Da Judge: Alex Kozinski on “The Dead Past”

Posted on April 13, 2012July 2, 2025 by Dissent

I’ve often commented how much I enjoy reading opinions by Alex Kozinski, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. His article in Stanford Law Review, The Dead Past, makes for great reading on privacy.

The icing on the cake? He ends the article by quoting this blog’s inspiration, Pogo: “We have met the enemy and he is us.”

Any time you’re in New York, Your Honor, you’re welcome to come over for dinner.
