NG: Anyone without valid ID card will not be allowed to lodge in Sokoto from 2016

Sokoto State governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has stated that beginning from 2016, only guests with valid means of identification would be allowed to lodge in Sokoto Hotels.

According to him, the new policy, which he said was a standard procedure in all parts of the world, would affect both Nigerians and foreigners.

If you’re an American planning to travel to Sokoto, note that you’ll need to present your passport with a valid Nigerian visa. If you are a Nigerian, the hotels will demand one of drivers’ licence, international passport or National ID Card.
