Regulator warns Sibirtelecom on personal data protection

The Russian national regulator for the communicatons sector Roskomnadzor has issued a statement requiring regional operator Sibirtelecom to stop infringement of the law on personal data protection. The confidentiality requirements for personal data of subscribers were infringed when this data was included in bills delivered to subscribers.
