Retired Navy officer sentenced for invasion of privacy

He secretly videotaped his teenage stepdaughters in the bathroom, undressing and taking a shower and then made illegal videos.

News stories on KHON2 and KITV report that in a Honolulu courtroom, Judge Michael Town sentenced Robert Thomas Franks to a year in prison under a relatively new law there, “invasion of privacy.”

Franks must serve a six month minimum, will be on probation for 5 years, and must undergo therapy.
