Use of personal information in Azerbaijan to be possible only with person’s consent

On May 11, the Azerbaijani parliament adopted the Draft Law on Personal Information in the third reading.

… use of personal information (personal data) is possible only with the approval of person of information with observance of confidentiality.

The Draft Law regulates collection, processing and retention of confidentiality of personal information in national information field and during trans-border operations.
