Interline Brands, a Jacksonville-based office supply and cleaning company, has agreed to settle in a $40 million lawsuit for sending ads via fax, a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Junk Fax Prevention Act.
The lawsuit, filed in May 2011, was a class action suit that began with a suit by Craftwood Lumber Company in Illinois, according to the settlement papers and an SEC filing by Interline Brands.
